28 Oct 6:14 AM“Book? Art Bizarre,” an exhibit by members of the Inland Northwest chapter of the Women’s Caucus for Art, runs Nov. 3-18, 2006, at
Auntie’s Bookstore Art Gallery, on the second level, 402 W. Main Ave. in Spokane.
A reception is Friday, Nov. 3 from 5-9 p.m. in conjunction with Spokane First Friday Artwalk.
The artwork centers around the theme of books and includes a variety of media including: stained glass, fabric, papier-mâché, sculpture and mixed media.
Look for work by Idaho artists
Rhea Giffin,
Kim Huender and
Laurie Schafer; and Washington artists Nancy Hathaway, Patty Khusro, and
Teresa Sadler.
Gallery hours during the run of the show are Wednesday and Thursday 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Admission is free.
The Inland Northwest chapter of the Women's Caucus for Art provides support and a sense of community for members through networking, discussions, lectures, studio visits, workshops and exhibition opportunities.
